We (humanity) must learn to wake the fuck up and saviour our (S)elves.

Let me suggest to you that we need to awaken our higher (S)elf by recognizing our lower egoic (s)elf if we have any hope of saving OURSELVES. It is the idea that we must discover how to train or elevate our lower (s)elves how to be our higher (S)elves. Some would say, to raise our vibrational frequencies. To become fully conscious of the unconscious. It is becoming increasingly clear that until a large portion of humanity can begin to pay attention, to do the inner work to transcend our animal minds, we (humanity) are not going to be around much longer (survive). If we (you) are being honest with our/your (s)(S)elves, we can easily see the un-sustainability of our current path on this planet. To saviour ourselves, to free ourselves, to awaken, we need to recognize what ALL wisdom seekers throughout the ages have been trying to tell us... the truth shall set us free. Not so coincidentally, we must also come to recognize that religion has and continues to be a dominant force on this planet and we have to get RIGHT with our religions. Or more importantly, we have to get RIGHT with our ACTIONS. So this is a call to action... right action. I implore all seekers religious, spiritual and secular among us to recognize that if we want to have a world for our children's children, we ALL must get serious about TRULY learning the truth of this life... to learn how to saviour our (S)elves... this is a call for RIGHT ACTION RIGHT NOW.

The truth without religion...
Do we really need a righteous holy war? No we do not. When we are honest and rational, we know the truth about life and death, love and fear, peace and dis-harmony, can be explained without any reference to religion, and some people may prefer that, but more than half of the human race is involved in a religion. Thus, to have any real chance of saving our Selves, we must include the truth about religion, all religions. This is the only way to unite us all. I primarily focus on Christianity as it remains currently the dominant one, but the principles apply to ALL religions.

Philosophers, sages and so called prophets have all been telling us through the ages how to awaken, how to be free, how to find our TRUE freedom, how to free our minds, how to find peace and harmony. What have they been saying? How do we free our minds and create lasting harmony within ourselves and thus ALL of humanity?

So... how do we cultivate this HIGHER (S)elf? How do we find TRUE freedom? How do we find purity of mind, so that happiness will follow?

Answer:
With the truth. When we remove the layers of anti-truth, what remains is... 'that which is' also known as the truth. Only with the truth will we conquer the deceptive force that currently RULES our lives.

The truth:
Lao Tzu, taught us the Tao called "the way", the Buddha taught finding the truth by an exercise called"Present Moment Awareness" or "The Now." Jesus described it as "The Truth and the Life." Using the Christian New Testament Bible Jesus describes it like this.

Jesus said, "Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” John 8:32

The Bible says that Satan is a fallen angel (secularly known as the Ego), the highest angel that turned into the devil, the enemy of God. The Bible goes on to tell us we must do the opposite and turn the devil back into God’s helper again, and you will become a divine, spiritual being.

The Bible says, “Satan is the prince of power on earth.”

The whole world is in the power of the evil one. John 5:19

Satan:
The word “Satan” means “adversary.” Look it up, stop now and quickly look up the word "Satan".

The truth is often described as 'that which is' and the Bible describes the devil (backwards for lived) as "that which deceives the world." So the anti-truth, from a biblical point of view, can be seen as the devil (our own egoic minds), the devil, the ego, is just too close for most people to see it. When seen, when we PAY ATTENTION (present moment awareness), we learn, we recognize there is only one thing that deceives us, one thing that hides the truth and life from us, one thing that causes our suffering... we learn how to turn the devil to its opposite, to turn the devil into lived, to truly have lived... the trick is to learn how to SEE IT. To learn how to do it. To learn how to live in the Truth.

"Once I was blind, now I can see." John 9:25

Some people think the devil is a living creature, something with horns and a pointed tail, a cosmic criminal. It is actually a metaphor for our own animal minds. The devil is just a name for the force of deception in all our lives. The adversary of God, Anti-truth the Anti-Christ, the Anti-lived, etc., is the mind, the beast within. We have not truly lived until we turn the devil.

"And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the devil and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world.: - Revelation 12:9

The beast within:
There is only one deceiver. To evil is the opposite of to live and evil is whatever it is that prevents us from seeing the truth and the life, from seeing true life, from being with God, Life, The Great Spirit, Allah, the omniscient, omnipresent force that religions call God.

The dragon is another mythical beast that does not really exist. But the Bible’s metaphorical description could not be better. The devil or dragon referred to in the Bible is our animal mind, the invisible beast within us.

The Bible says that Christ will slay the Antichrist with truth. When people learn to awaken their higher (S)elf and learn the truth and the life, they will have the mind of Christ and will use the truth against the forces of deception to control the devil, to change the devil... to turn the fallen angel, back into an angel.

"Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus" Philippians 2:5

Jesus said, “Get behind me Satan! You are blocking my way!”

Our Guardian angel:
Jesus, and all of the other so called wisdom seekers and prophets, do not tell us to get rid of the metaphorical devil (egoic mind); they tell us to take control of it. To find dominion or sovereignty over our selves. It is what the great Greek philosophers taught as the "kingdom of thy self." It is what the great philosopher Nietzsche described as the Overman or Superman. To "get over yourself" as they say. It is taking control of ones self, or self ruler-ship. Discovery and cultivating this truth restores our guardian angel... it restores our biblical fallen angel.

The Bible goes on to say, Satan will be transformed into Lucifer, the angel of light. What is a metaphorical angel of light?

The bringer of light:
The word Lucifer means “bringer of light, or "bringer of dawn.,” what we could call today as "the (an) awakener". Once the mind realizes that it is the problem, it will begin to turn from Satan into Lucifer. The story is of bad angels and good angels. All angels represent the mind, a bad mind and good mind, and even the good ones are still mind, something that blocks the truth and the life. The good ones represent the good mind that helps you see the truth and life, a guardian angel that fights the bad states of mind. They are metaphors to represent different states of mind.

It just has to do the opposite and turn from the devil back into God’s helper again, and you will become a divine, spiritual being, you will be awakened. You will have turned the devil into it's opposite and for the first time, you will have truly lived.

For most of us, our minds are in front of our spirit, it leads us and the mind needs to be get behind us, to support us, not hinder us, not control us. Your mind, your egoic mind, is leading you most of the time, and to be a true spiritual being we (spirit) must lead IT, all of the time, full time. The trick is to first learn to recognize, then manage, what is seculary called the ego; it is to see our complete erroneous mis-identification, our belief, that we are ONLY our minds. We are not only our minds, we are also spirit. This deception, our ignorance that we are ONLY our minds is the biblical idea of sin. To fail to recognize the truth of ourselves, by continually allowing our egoic minds (the devil) to lie to us, is a sinner. To be a sinner, is to be ignorant to the truth that we are more than our minds or sadly that we knowingly lie. We are spirit in a physical body and our spirit must lead the mind, not the mind leading us. We are a sinner if we let the devil (ego mind) rule us. We can only find our "grace" (important word in the Christian tradition) when we can successfully marry/unify, the us, the we (mind and spirit) into a becoming, a oneness, a wholeness, a harmonious (w)holy union of ourselves. With our grace, with our mind, body and spirit unification, our (w)holiness can be expressed as harmonious powerful righteous light energy into this world... a (w)holy unity, a trinity of mind, body and spirit, that we call ENLIGHTENMENT.

However, until your mind, your unfettered mind, is transformed into your helper, your guardian, the mind remains your mortal enemy, the enemy of truth and life and the enemy of God, the enemy of humanity. The mind, your egoic mind, is what the Bible calls Satan and the devil, your adversary... it is in fact, the anti-life.

Evil is live spelled backwards. All evil is, is the opposite of true life... opposite of the truth and the life. If we (humanity) want to TRULY live, we must all reverse all evil on this material plain we call life.

“Lord,” said Thomas, 'we do not know where You are going, so how can we know the way?' Jesus answered, 'I am the way and the truth and the life." John 14:5

We must come to recognize that religious books are all screwed up and full of contradictions. Lucifer is seen as bad and good, and there are all sorts of other angels and demons, but you can sort through all the contradictions and see the truth is actually hidden in there. If you spend your time studying all the various interpretations and myths, you will be falling into a trap, and spending your time in the mind instead of living in God/life. That is what most religious scholars are doing, and it is a grave mistake.

Truth/deception:
There are no good or evil people; there are just those that know the truth and those that do not. The battle between good and evil is a battle between the truth and deception, nothing more, nothing less.

The Bible describes Satan as the “deceiver,” and by definition, that means that Satan has to be your mind. All there is, is the mind and life, and life by definition is “the truth,” so Satan, the devil, has to be the deceptive mind. There is a duality of the mind with it's devilish egoic imagination and the truth; there is nothing else. True or false?

The talking snake:
The mind is sneaky like the snake in the Bible; it is the perfect metaphor for the devil/mind. It will slip into your head and your life without you noticing it. It is a thought, a judgment, a belief, an idea, guilt, envy, hate, fear, worry or one of the mind’s other manifestations. It takes you out of the present if you don’t notice it and recognize it for what it is.

This controlling mind is not your friend. It is no more your friend than the snake in the story of the Garden of Eden was Adam and Eve’s friend. It will tempt, distract, deceive and mislead you. It separates us from God/life and paradise. Thus, it creates all the suffering we see in this world.

Tree of knowledge:
In the mythical story of the Garden of Eden, the tree Adam and Eve ate from and mankind continues to eat from is the tree of knowledge. It is described as the knowledge of good and evil. It is the knowledge of judgment, of comparison, of right and wrong, success and failure, birth and death, past and future, the opposites of life.

Adam and Eve learned of the opposites, but not the balance of the opposites, as the story goes they got caught up in the mind, so the grass started looking greener on the other side of the garden. They saw their bodies and felt naked for the first time. They saw death and started worrying. The knowledge caused human beings to start thinking and worrying about life instead of living it. They left the present/the now, because they could no longer see it; they no longer perceived the paradise. They could not see life’s perfection. Human beings became a mind. Mankind became (mind-kind). As a result, we ended up in the land of Nod. The land of Nod is the land of semi-sleep. We became semi-awake zombies. We THINK we are not good enough, we are living in a dream world; we nodded off. It is interesting that the word nod, a place in a mythical story, came to mean sleep, or not being awake to the truth and life. And it is why we are so fascinated with the idea of the walking dead. Just a coincidence?

"Knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep, for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed." Rom 13:11

"We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed." 1 Cor 15:51

"Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest and arise from the dead, and
Christ shall give thee light." Eph 5:14

The Bible says in many places that mankind is just sleeping and just needs to wake up. The problem is that we are too asleep to know we are asleep. A great example of a misinterpretation of being asleep is the biblical story of lazarus. It is a story about being spiritually dead (asleep) and not physically dead.

"After He had said this, He told them, Our friend Lazarus has fallen asleep, but I am going there to wake him up.” John 11:11
It is interesting that the numbers 11:11 have been seen by many as the awakening code. It's time to wake up folks! :)
