"The Truman's Show" messages and symbolisms. (Part 1)

Old but gold, "The Truman Show" was a cosmic slap and a spiritual guideline for those who are seeking their true self and purpose of life. A movie full of symbolisms and life changing meanings. But let's have a look at some of the symbolisms and messages in the movie.
-At the start of the movie, when Christof, the shows director speaks, he says: "While the world he inhabits is, in some respects, counterfeit, there’s nothing fake about Truman himself". A message that want to show us that we can be real an a world that the things that matter don't have the attention they should have. We have the choice and whatever it takes to be the way we have to be and give a hand to change this world.
-When we first meet Truman in the movie, he is acting out a hokey movie scene where he tells his co-mountaineer, "If i fail to reach the summit, carry on without me." As a symbol for "enlightenment," the summit is a place Truman will symbolically fail to reach in our movie, thus urging us, the viewer, to "carry on" without him in our search for enlightenment.
