▶️ Speak on Steem Update: Increasing IPFS storage, Bugs fixing and more.
Greetings,
This is a small update applied to Speak on Steem that seeks to improve website stability and user experience.
First, we have increased the maximum quota per user to 2000 MB (2 GB), and the maximum size per file to 500 MB to allow users to continue using the IPFS upload. Currently we have already used 2% of our total storage, we have been testing the use of lockers in the US with small orders since Amazon does not ship to Venezuela, once the tests are ready we will acquire some hard drives to start our IPFS node.

You can also see your IPFS usage, change your RPC node, or enable/disable the autoplay in settings page.

 | We received a suggestion by steemchiller of reducing the size for the images in the preview, before we were using original size and now was reduced to 640x480 |
 | The PRO editor have been updated from a textarea to a content editable input to optimize the behavior in mobile. Before everytime you use a button from the toolbar the keyboard was hidden, with this editor the keyboard is not closed and the experience is more fluid. There is still need some optimizations going on for this feature. |
 | Some basic SEO enhancements have been added to start identifying each page of the site, this will be upgraded every time to test new practices and improve the content listing on browsers. |
 | We have added an optional check to support Speak on Steem by adding a beneficiary of 5% to @speem, this is optional and will help with the project sustainability. |
Other bugs fixed have been applied.
