Inmortalizando momentos - "La fila del banco" / Immortalizing moments - "The bank line"
Historias tristes y a la vez sorprendentes de las cuales hoy compartiré un poco con ustedes. Para comenzar el dibujo, en el medio me dibujé a mi misma sentada en la acera de ese banco en el que llevaba varias horas sentada esperando, por los alrededores se encontraba un lindo y cariñoso perro color café, que a pesar de ser un perro de la calle no dudé en acariciar. En lo personal me encantan los animales y quise incluirlo dentro del dibujo.
A mi lado derecho se encontraba un padre con su hija, se veían excelentes personas y la niña, con la mirada más dulce e inocente que solo un niño puede tener aún con la situación en la cual estamos. Su padre, me comentó que buscaba el dinero en efectivo para poder comprar alimentos un poco más económicos y así poder llevar a su hogar y alimentar a su familia.
A mi otro lado, se encontraba una chica joven, aproximadamente de la misma edad que yo, con su bebé en brazos lo amamantaba mientras llegaba su turno para pasar al banco.
Finalmente, luego de esta experiencia solo puedo decir que decidí dejar el rostro en blanco de todas las personas que nos encontramos en el dibujo porque en mi opinión, poco a poco hemos perdido nuestra identidad como venezolanos, ahora nuestras mentes están enfocadas en sobrevivir... en tratar de afrontar la situación de alguna manera u otra y así poder seguir adelante.
Yo solo espero... que algún día cambie todo esto para mejor, y tu que me lees... estés donde estés: valora, valora todo a tu alrededor, a tu familia, tu vida, cada plato de comida así sea poco o algo que no te guste. HAZLO HOY... PORQUE MAÑANA, QUIZÁS YA NO PUEDAS HACERLO.

Sad stories and at the same time surprising of which I will share a little with you today. To begin the drawing, in the middle I drew myself seated on the sidewalk of that bank in which I had been sitting for some hours waiting, in the area there was a nice and friendly brown dog, that in spite of being a street dog I did not doubt in touching. Personally, I love animals and I wanted to include it in my drawing.
On my right side was a father with his daughter, they looked excellent people and the girl, with the sweetest and most innocent eyes that only a child can have even with the situation in which we are. Her father told me that he was looking for cash to buy food a little cheaper so he could take it home and feed his family.
On my other side was a young girl, who was approximately the same age as me. With her baby in her arms, she was nursing him while her turn came to pass.
Finally, after this experience I can only say that I decided to leave the blank face of all the people that we are in the drawing because in my opinion, little by little we have lost our identity as Venezuelans, now our minds are focused on survive... in trying to confront the situation in some way or another and be able to keep going.
I just hope... that someday this will change for a better country, and you who read to me... wherever you are: value, value everything around you, your family, your life, each meal even if it's little or something you don't like. DO IT TODAY... BECAUSE TOMORROW, YOU MAY NOT BE POSSIBLE TO DO IT ANYMORE.
