Paciente entre la vida y la muerte. Inseguridad. Medicina a todo terreno vzla

Quisiera empezar este pos con una historia vivida, No solo como medico cirujano si no como persona.
Y mas dado por la situación de nuestro país Venezuela donde cada día se ve la delincuencia en ascenso, y la vida del ciudadano se ve afectada.

No solo eso si no la realidad de que cada día los hospitales de este país se ven afectada por el deterioro de las estructuras ( ya que no invierten en ellos), tanto de medicamentos que no llegan como por ejemplo anestesia, antibióticos.

Es una lastima y me decepciona ver que cada vez que voy a mi hospital no hay guantes no hay recipe, no hay inyectadora, y por ende tratar de buscar como solucionar al paciente ya que no estamos tratando con animales si no con personas.

El día de ayer en mi guardia en el hospital en pleno anochecer, eran las 7:30 pm cuando de repente escucho una familia pelando con los porteros que necesitan una camilla que necesitan la ayuda. yo me acerco y les digo: Tranquilo dígame en que lo podemos ayudar.

Por lo que me responde: Necesitamos ayuda tenemos a mi hermano que le acaban de dar unos impacto de balas.
Por lo que salgo de emergencia corriendo cuando veo un hombre ensangrentado, pálido, que suplicaba ayuda por lo que se interviene con mis compañeros, es trasladado al área de emergencia.

Empiezo a evaluar cuidadosamente : El cual observo 2 orificios de entradas en la región abdominal si orificio de salida.
Se intenta canalizar una vía periférica pero no se cuenta con catéter en el área de emergencia el cual se solicita familiares conseguir, no se encontraba soluciones, salí lo mas rápido en búsqueda de una que recordé había una en el área de hospitalizan, ademas de ello busque unos guantes que tenia guardado.

Ademas de ello no había tubo para la recolección de laboratorios de sangre de emergencias, se le solicita nuevamente a familiares.
Le pregunto a sus familiares que le paso y me contestan:
Fue un intento de robo venia en el transporte publico cuando 2 malhechores subieron y con un arma que tenían en su bolso amenazaron con matarlos a todos si no entregaban sus pertenencias, al llegar a mi hermano no tenia nada de valor el celular que el tenia se lo robaron hace 1 mes y por condiciones del país no le da sustento para conseguir uno nuevo, por lo que le dispararon 2 veces a quemar ropa.

Quede indignado con lo que me contaron no se puede salir a la calle, si tienes te roban, y si no tienes te matan.

Paciente por condiciones inestables es llevado de EMERGENCIA AL ÁREA DE QUIROFANO. Se le realiza una laparatomia exploratoria, por lo que se evidencia trauma de colon izquierdo, de riñon izquierdo y bazo con destruccion del parenquima por lo que se le realizo una esplenectomia total.

Paciente quien posteriormente sale del procedimiento quirurgico con exito. Tendra un dia mas para contar su historia.
