Grammar: There is and there are
In this lesson we are going to talk about objects that are in a specific space. For doing that we can use there is and there are. There is used for singular nouns and there are for plural nouns. Let's talk a look of the examples. For singular nouns we have: there is an over in the kitchen. There is one over in the kitchen. For plural nouns we have there are. There are two towels in the bathroom. There are two towels in the bathroom. We also have negative sentences with there is and there are. Remember "there is" is for singular nouns. There are for plural nouns. Let's look at the example. There isn't an oven in the kitchen. There aren't two towels in the bathroom. Again. There isn't an oven in the kitchen. There aren't two towels in the bathroom.

Bedroom
There is one closet. There is one mirror. There is a picture. There is one bed. There are pillows. There is one night table. There is a carpet. There is a dresser. There is a TV.
Living room
Now, let's look at the living room. In the living room there is an armchair. There is a sofa. There are cushions. There are curtains. There is a table. There is a fireplace. Also, there are some books.
Bathroom
No let's take a look at the bathroom. In the bathroom there is a cabinet. Also there is a toilet. There are towels. There is a sink. There is a shower. There is a bathtub.
Kitchen
Now let's look at the kitchen. In the kitchen there is a refrigerator. There are cupboards. There is a microwave. There is a stove.

To name the position in which an object is located use preposition of place. Let's take a look at them:
English = Español
In = en, dentro de, adentro.
On = en, sobre, acerca de, encima de.
Under = debajo.
Behind = detras.
In front of = en frente de.
Above = sobre, encima, arriba.
Below = por debajo.
Between = entre, en medio de.
Next to = junto a, al lado de, casi.
