With afflictions and problems we find peace in Jesus.
If we talk about a message of hope and comfort, this is one of them. The Lord Jesus Christ teaches us and assures us that in this world we will face many difficult moments.
At the same time Jesus Christ also assures us that he is our victory and our source of confidence and peace. The peace that Jesus offers us does not depend on what is happening in our environment. The peace that the Lord offers us depends on our trust in him, he is in control.
We just have to trust.
33 These things I have spoken to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.
