Those days will come

The Lord speaks to us about a message of hope and above all restoration for those who believe in Him. We can see this historical context at the time when Jeremiah planned judgment and destruction on Judah, this was because of their sin of infidelity.
But even so, in a very dark moment for the people, God assures them through a promise that better times would come. Although the people were in a very complicated situation, God emphasizes that He will never abandon them and much less in that difficult moment, nor had He forgotten them.
Here we can see the emphasis that God's promises have, God does not lie and fulfills everything He has promised. Although in this context the people of Israel were experiencing the result of their own ways, God would still fulfill what He had promised. God urges us here to trust even if we face the worst difficulties, we have the certainty and full assurance that He is faithful to His word and always has the best plans for us.
The days are coming, says the Lord, when I will fulfill the good word that I have spoken to the house of Israel and to the house of Judah
