The prophecy of the birth of the Messiah.
There are many prophecies about the birth of Jesus and the following is one of the most significant.
With this prophecy God shows us that from nothing or from the smallest thing He can do great, impressive things. God can fulfill His plans in any way. This town, Bethlehem, was an unknown and small town, it has been the place where the savior of the world would be born.
In the same way we can feel small or insignificant but God can use us for great purposes. God chooses the weak, the vile and the despised to do great and significant things.
Have you ever felt that you are small or unimportant at some point in your life? Remember that for God you are very important and that through your life He can do wonders.
"But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, though you are small among the clans of Judah, out of you will come forth for me one who will be ruler in Israel, whose goings forth are from of old, from everlasting."
