Jesus humbled himself to the utmost!
Do we want to know more about Jesus' crucial moment? There is a sublime moment in the life of the Son of God, the moment when he decided to renounce himself to take the place of perverse and sinful humanity.
Jesus Christ preferred to renounce glory to become like us, a human being with weaknesses and pain, but apart from assuming that place, he lowered himself even more, he became a servant of all.
This shows us the greatness of the service of surrender, and delivery into the hands of his enemies to declare them free! Jesus Christ has reconciled us with the Father so that we might live through him.
But he emptied himself, taking the form of a servant, being made in the likeness of men; and being found in the form of a man, he humbled himself, becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross.
Philippians 2:7-8
