A new seed has been born.
Today we can appreciate a prophetic announcement about Jesus, the Messiah. Here we observe the rebirth of new hope and restoration through the descendant of Jesse.
Isaiah, the father of David, and although this lineage would seem to be finished or cut off like a trunk that is already dead, God has promised that from this apparently dead and lifeless root, already dry, a shoot full of life will emerge, speaking of Jesus Christ.
This shows us that God has the power to restore, to make many things out of nothing, to give life where there is none. Where there seems to be death, God gives life. Although David's kingdom had already fallen, God still fulfills the promise of bringing a savior from his same lineage and this is a lesson for us that even when there are times when we have already lost all hope, God works miracles and restores what seemed lost.
God will do amazing things in your life, hold on to the promises of God and live by faith waiting for the powerful work of God.
A shoot will come out from the stump of Jesse, and a branch will sprout from his roots.
