Sin embargo, está alcanzando gran popularidad gracias a su aspecto único: un gato atractivo de pelo largo con el patrón de puntos y con unas características manchas blancas en pies y patas.
Majestuoso, tranquilo e inteligente como misterioso y legendario. Se creía que tuvo a su custodia las almas de los sacerdotes budistas de Burma. Su capa es larga, sedosa y densa. Colores: punto foca, punto azul, punto chocolate, punto lila, con sus 4 garras en color blanco.
