Nuevo proyecto personal/New personal project

Hola a todos, soy Daniela, una joven escritora y editora cuya meta es, algún día, poder trabajar para una editorial importante. Este es mi primer post en Steemit y pensé: 'hey, y si hiciera algo diferente'. Por eso decidí plantearme un proyecto personal. Este proyecto consiste en escribir todos mis post tanto en español como en inglés. Sí, sí, lo sé, no es muy innovador u original. Miles de bloggers lo han hecho antes, pero yo quiero que esto represente un reto para mí como escritora. Quiero poner a prueba mis conocimientos del inglés y mi capacidad de traducción, al mismo tiempo que hago llegar mi contenido a más lectores.

Sólo tengo una pequeña duda con respecto a la estructura de mis futuras publicaciones, al orden del texto. ¿Qué opinan ustedes, debería escribir primero todo el texto en español y luego su traducción (como se hace normalmente) o debería hacer algo distinto como escribir un párrafo en español seguido por su traducción y luego otro en español (intercalados)?

Suelo escribir sobre todo lo que me interese, desde el arte de escribir, hasta… no sé, la película de superhéroes más reciente, mitología, cuántos dientes tiene un tiranosaurio Rex… ustedes entienden. Trataré de escribir al menos un post por semana.

Las críticas son bienvenidas, especialmente si tienen que ver con errores de traducción. Acepto toda opinión que me sirva para mejorar.

Hello everybody, I’m Daniela, a young writer and editor whose goal is to, someday, be able to work for an important publishing house. This is my first post here on Steemit and I thought: ‘hey, what if I do something different’. That’s why I decided to start a personal project. This project is about writing all of my post in both Spanish and English. Yes, yes, I know, it’s neither innovative nor original. Thousands of bloggers have done it before, but I want it to be a challenge to me as a writer. I want to test my knowledge of the English language and my skills as a translator while making my content available to more readers.

I have but one small doubt regarding my future publications’ structure, internal text structure. What do you think? Should I write the text in Spanish first and then the translation (like it’s usually done) or should I do something different like writing one paragraph in Spanish, the translation of said paragraph and then another one in Spanish?

Normally, I write about anything that holds my interest, from the art of writing to… I don’t know, the most recent superhero movie, mythology, how many teeth does a T-Rex has… you get it. I will try to write at least one post per week.

Critics are welcome, especially if they are about translation mistakes. I accept every opinion that helps me improve. ​
