Question for Steem Victims of the Downvote: Anyone Here Having Problems with Flag Spammers?

I'm coming to my loyal (non-existent) fans bearing bad news:

I've been downvoted.

Twice.

By the same MFer: r4ken.

Judging by the amount of activity on this MFer's Steem blog and judging by how many of his thousand blog posts have been downvoted themselves, I'm guessing that I'm not the only one who sees this MFer as an MFer.

The Problem: I am new to Steem with a small following (I think I have one follower at the moment?) and thus all it takes is one spammer to come through and downvote my content to render it "less visible." This is stressful considering how much time I put into my previous post (which I had to copy & paste into a separate post when the original was downvoted & rendered "less visible.").

Is this a recurrent issue on Steem? Has anyone else dealt with an MFer like r4ken?

It seems like he's simply going through the "New" newsfeed and flagging everyone's content, regardless of it being offensive or not, because I'm seeing his downvotes on plenty of other users as well.

This has been borderline rage-inducing, like cartoon-levels of steam blowing out my ears, as I'd like to contribute to this platform without getting flagged by plebeian prostitutes such as the aforementioned MFer r4ken. As many of you know, a lot of time may go into writing a post, so nothing kills the motivation to write long-form articles if there's a giant risk of it getting recklessly downvoted.

If anyone has any experience with this type of blatant spamming, please share below. It'd be at least reassuring to know I'm not the only one.

I'm guessing the best way to "combat" these MFers is to just get more followers & to get more upvotes. But that's sort of tough at the moment while my content is getting castrated by the downvote seconds after it's been posted.
