As we know SN15 has reportedly undergone 'hundreds' of improvements Musk confirmed in a tweet that the rocket's three-engine static fire test had gone well and that the SpaceX team was "getting ready for a flight later this week."

Between December 2020 and April 2021, the company performed four previous Starship concept "high-altitude" flight tests, including SN8 and SN11, all of which failed to stick the landing and resulted in fiery explosions.

SN15 has recently undergone required modifications, including enhancements to its Raptor engines, and NASASpaceflight.com said Monday that "SN15 is the first vehicle to sport improvements ranging from the Thrust Puck to her avionics," though many of the details have yet to be disclosed.

The billionaire has identified "hundreds of design changes across structures, avionics/software, and engine," according to CNET.

It's also "up in the clouds" as SN15 will launch about 6.2 miles into the sky at SpaceX's South Texas Starship production center near Boca Chica Village.

As part of Musk's dedication to make mankind a "spacefaring society and a multiplanet community one day," SpaceX is building the Starship to help transport people and cargo to the moon and Mars.
The 165-foot-tall Starship spacecraft and the first-stage "Super Heavy" booster will be part of the final device.
