iSpace, the Japanese company will to launch two missions to the Moon In 2020 and 2021
As we have been seeing in the last few years, it seems that space exploration is once again more active than ever. There are so many private companies, such us SpaceX, Blue Origin, and government organizations such us NASA or ESA, the aerospace field is better than ever, and now there seems to be another firm that wants to join. This company is known by "iSpace", and it's a Japanese company that wants to carry out missions by sending its ships to the Moon
This has been announced by iSpace itself in a statment, where it claims to have contracted two future flights aboard a Falcon 9 (SpaceX ship) to take it to an orbit around the Moon in the years 2020 and 2021. The name of the mission will be HAKUTO-R, which is a reference to the name of the project that the company showed in the Google Lunar XPRICE contest, and that ended being finalist.
Takeshi Hakamada, who is the founder and CEO of iSpace, said that, from the company >"we share the vision with SpaceX of bringing humans to live in space, so we are very happy to have them join us in this first step of our journey. "
It is definitely a good sign to see that more and more companies are daring to carry out missions to our beloved satellite: the Moon.
