Introducing Sophia
THIS IS SOPHIA
Sophia is the first robot to get a citizenship of a country, she is an official citizen of Saudi Arabia! She was designed by Hanson Robotics and operates as a talking bot.
According to the manufacturer, David Hanson, Sophia uses artificial intelligence, visual data processing and facial recognition. Sophia also imitates human gestures and facial expressions and is able to answer certain questions and to make simple conversations on predefined topics.
A pretty smart robot one would say. You can check various interviews with her on youtube so you get to know her :P
As our technology evolves rapidly, we are going to see more and more advanced robots, this is just the beginning! The Singularity is coming guys.
