February Solar Stats ⚡🪫💡🔌
Welcome to my February report on all things solar at my place, as you know i spent the last 18 days of February away but i was checking the Solar App to see what was happening at home.
Feb 2025
The House 601 kWh in February, we had some hot days which would have meant Air conditioner time.

83% self powered this month which is down on last years February which was 92% self powered, but hey 83% is still a good effort.
This is what the battery did over the month, you know get and send electricity...
We generated 725 kWh which is pretty good, i could see when i was overseas that we were having good sunshine hours.
Last February we generated 720 kWh which is pretty close to this months total generation.
We exported 82 KwH which helps pay for the daily line charge
Overall a pretty good month and it will be interesting to see what March will be like.

I’m a bit amazed about the solar app because this is actually my first time hearing such app exist..
This picture been displayed, is it telling you the amount of energy your solar panels was able to generate for your house??
How do you connect it from your phone to your solar because it’s obvious you took the screenshot from your phone..

the Powerwall battery connects to our WIFI, as does the app on my phone to be able to get data etc.
The monthly solar stats are so satisfying. We’re starting to get some sunshine here and I can hear the pennies accumulating in my money box.
How many more months of sun are you expecting? You must be in autumn now.
That's great! How many KW in PV do you have?
I just bought this for the 24 volt panels and it is a charger / controller which can run off PV only. Off grid model uses 1600 watts max. It was $303
It has app, wifi control as well
