Facebook redesign trending topic section ,now dubbed trending news,is widely available on mobile for iPhone and android users in the us .giving uses central location for all of the company aggregation efforts after the tumultuous year of changes to how Facebook handle journalism .announcement of a redesign came back in may,when Facebook revealed new look for its news section ,that focused on more offering a wider range publication and giving users something that appear less partisan .
when you tap on the trending news button,which has its own dedicated placement in the main navigation bar ,you will get numbered list stories ordered by how many likes ,comments ,share the topic is getting across the app.taping on any subject,like the most recent episode of games of thrones,will reveal a carousal of stories from different outlets, as well as videos,photos, posts from prominent celebrities and other public pages.
Facebook says it does not control which publication shows up or which stories appear ,ordering the list only by factors like,the engagement around the article of Facebook,the engagement around the publisher overall ,and weather others articles are linking to it.
