It was a record that looked set to stand for some time. But, now Kylian Mbappe! has become the youngest player to score 15 goals in the UEFA Champions League. The previous holder was a little known player by the name of Lionel Messi.
Mbappe scored a hat-trick last night in the against Club Brugge in the Champions League. His colleague, Angel Di Maria, also shone in a match that saw the Parisians walk away with a 5-0 victory on away grounds.
The French striker scored his first every Champions League goal during the 16/17 season in a match in the Last 16 against Manchester City. At the time, he was playing for PSG's Ligue 1 rivals, AS Monaco.
The 20-year-old striker is valued at $200 million by Transfermarkt ! and many see the player as important candidate to win the Ballon d'Or trophy in the future. Mbappe could be to football what LedZeppelin was to rock music.
