Now that you mention it ... something about material remuneration has an effect of 'making professionals' out of the participants from both within their own perception and obviously externally... Since you mention gear (sponsorship, product placement, endorsement deals ... if we could attract someone like Roland/Yamaha?) ... OK mouth watering, wishful thinking ...
