"dream of life" for smartphone users
Two prestigious universities in the United States are conducting research into a new material that will extend the life of phone batteries, allowing users to charge the phone four times a year.
The researchers at Michigan and Cornell universities are working on a new material that attracts both electrical and magnetic energy, increasing battery life.
According to the Independent newspaper, the new material will increase the effectiveness of mobile phones and computers 100 times, which means that the need to charge devices only over long periods.
The need to charge phones, especially smart phones, is a constant inconvenience to users who may be surprised by the phone's battery depletion and have to constantly comply with the need to charge it.
One key element of the research confirmed that the technology would be in place by 2030.
