My Drawing #6 Silent Bird
"Silent Bird" is the title of my drawing for this time, and I give that title to my work? Owls are a species of bird that is active at night and at that time they are looking for their prey to be food for themselves and their childrens, I really like owls because of its cold but fast moving and deadly, in the silence of the night they fly and immediately pounce on its prey such as rats and small snakes. leaf flying leaves is a symbol of wind power, because owls rely on wing movement to fly and blend with the wind. The media I use this time is the A5 Picture Book and smaller than my previous work, Pencil 2B and Gelpen 0.5mm.
For the first stage as usual I make sketches first to make it easier when entering the staining stage with Gelpen, here I use a 2B pencil.
After finished sketching I entered the staining stage, here I use 0.5mm Gelpen. Drawing techniques I use are hatching techniques and also pointtilis.
In pointilis technique we are required to be more patient because we make a point one by one, I work this work for about 4 hours while enjoying coffee to be more spirit. Thank you for your attention and see you in the next post.
