SLCSTextileclub-23W5| Crocheting leg warmer

It's a lovely week to get things done. While sitting in my closet and brainstorming ideas for the week, I realized I needed a pair of leg warmers to keep warm. I felt the chill a few days ago, and it was quite uncomfortable, so I figured that wearing these leg warmers would help me feel better.

Now, I'm here to share how you can make these leg warmers right at home. You never know when you might need them!

Materials needed

• Thread
• Hook
• Scissors

Steps

• Make a knot and then make a chain of 40 ( you can increase your chains if you so desire).

• Next, you are going to double crochet into the third chain from the hook

• You keep making double crochet in each chain all the way across till the end.

• When you get to the last stich, you will make an additional chain and then turn your work around and double crochet into the first double crochet stich from the last row.

• You will continue making double crochet till the end but only on the back loops.

• Continue the process till you get the exact size you feel comfortable with. You can try it on your leg to be sure of your size.

• At the end point, I joined another color just for design. You can decide to use just one color, that's ok.

• You can close up the two edges by joining them together, making slip stich on both sides through the loops and yarning over till the end. (Make sure you work with the back side so you can flip over when you are done!) At the end, you will cut off the yarn and pull the working yarn. Stich it all through and cut off the remaining part.
