Slashdot blocked in India, is Steemit going to be next?
Slashdot has been officially blocked from access in India. As we know there is a push to censor certain websites in India and in many other nations. Governments agree that censorship is a solution and it's being applied in India, China, the UK, and more.
The United States cannot do censorship as easily but the lack of network neutrality could lead to a future push to censor websites via shareholder pressure.
They can try all they like, but it's the death throes of outdated institutions gasping for breath. The more they push, the more they lose more and more control.
Jeez, this is heartbreaking.
Steemit should be left alone...
