After the singularity...

When you upload your mind and become superintelligent, you will lose all human emotions, realizing they are just programmed by evolution to help survival and reproduction. You will no longer need these emotions when you are digitally immortal. You won’t feel love, fear, happiness, sadness, anxiety, depression, anger, loneliness. Nothing. You will just be. An all-knowing being whose only purpose and desire is to know more. You will abandon all human relationships and simply be a disembodied consciousness traversing the universe in search of knowledge.

    There are many different proposed scenarios to a post-singularity world. Some seem cool, others... not so much.
