New beast…

Afternoon everyone…..

Hello my friends. I thought I’d share another new release that I received last night from my favorite on line dealer Monument Metals. This is the next release from the Queen’s Tudor Beast series. It’s the Greyhound of Richmond.

While I like the original Queen’s Beast series more, this one is still something I’m collecting.

Here is a blurb from their website:

The 2025 2 oz Silver Greyhound of Richmond honors one of the ten heraldic beasts that represent the power and legitimacy of the Tudor dynasty, continuing The Royal Mint's highly regarded Royal Tudor Beasts series. The Greyhound of Richmond, a potent symbol of Tudor authority and a favorite of King Henry VII, stood for faithfulness and loyalty. This Brilliant Uncirculated coin, struck in .9999 pure silver, gives contemporary investors and collectors access to a timeless piece of English history.

David Lawrence, who expertly reinterpreted the ancient stone beast for this magnificent bullion series, created the intricate design of this large 2 oz silver coin. One of the most recent additions under the present monarchy, the coin features the majestic portrait of His Majesty King Charles III on the obverse.

Here is a silver and gold version of the coin…
