Impacts of war….

Afternoon everyone…..

I’m not sure if you have already heard this or not yet. But our Cheeto faced leader Trump sent bomber planes to Iran late last night and dropped 12,000 tons worth of bombs on three nuclear power plant sites. If you want more information on that just Google it, that’s not what I want to really talk about.

How will this impact metals…..

In the short term meaning until Iran decides how they will retaliate, it will probably have little to no affect on metal prices.

But….

Depending on exactly how they retaliate it could have a massive affect on metal pricing. Look at what the Russia/Ukrainian war had on metals, and that didn’t have any direct contact with the US other than some supply issues.

If this escalated as I expect that it will. You will see $40 silver and $3,500 gold without a doubt. But the caveat on this is will it stay that high after the conflict is over. My opinion is not a chance. It’s a safe haven for money during turbulent times. Once things stabilize, you will see both metals come back down to current levels or possibly a slight bit lower.

If you are looking to take advantage of this spike that happens, for who knows how long. Don’t wait too long because I don’t think the window is going to be open for very long. Just my opinion.

I’ll be keeping a very close eye on it.
