Arrived

Morning/afternoon everyone….

Well as the title states, we have arrived. Not without complications,but we have arrived.

Our flight was scheduled to take off at 4:20pm EST. We had lined up to take off, then just sat there for what seemed like forever. Then the pilot comes over the speaker. He says there is a medical emergency with one of the passengers. We need to go back to a gate to get them medical attention.

We had to get out of our position in taxi, which looked quite complicated watching it unravel. We got to a gate and they got the passenger safely off the plane. I hope he is alright.

Needless to say this put us over an hour behind on our scheduled take off.

Our trip is to visit the Grand Canyon. So we landed in Las Vegas.

We rented an Airbnb in a town just outside of Las Vegas in a town named Henderson. I’d share pictures, but it was after 9pm local time when we arrived. So it will have to wait.

I don’t know our plans for tomorrow, but Wednesday we have a helicopter/boat/bus tour of the Grand Canyon scheduled. I am totally looking forward to that.

Anyway

If you’ve made it this far, I’ll give you a piece of shiny to look at for being patient.
