Final day

Afternoon everyone ….

By the time you are reading this post. I will be in the car driving home from my weeks vacation down the shore in Wildwood Crest.

It was an beautiful week of weather. There were two days that were slightly overcast and on the cooler side for going to the beach. The rest of the days were sunny and warm.

Because of the hurricane over a hundred miles off shore. The water was rough several days.

Wildwood Crest has one of the nicest beaches I’ve ever been to, other than the Caribbean.

Wildwood is technically an island. You have to go over a bridge to get into Wildwood. There is a bay between Wildwood Crest and Cape May, which requires you to go over another bridge to get there as well from Wildwood.

Here are some pictures of the bay side of Wildwood Crest that I took yesterday afternoon, when we got back from the beach.

There were people jet skiing, wave running, and a bunch of sailboats coming in and out. This bay is where all of the sight seeing boats are docked as well as the fishing boats.

Last night after dinner, we walked over to a place named Duffer’s. It’s a homemade ice cream shop, that is jam packed ever minute it is open. We decided to wait in line and give it a try.

I’ve been to Wildwood Crest on vacation many years over the course of my life. This place has been here the whole time. And I can honestly say, that I can’t believe I didn’t come here sooner!

The ice cream is superb!

Everyone had a different flavor. We all sampled each others and agreed that every flavor we had was fantastic.

There will be more to come on the vacation shortly. When I have time to sort it all out.

I’ll do a complete post shortly…
