There are a bunch of new releases from the British Royal Mint coming out now. Today I will share one of them with you.

About the 2025 British The Lion and The Eagle 1 Oz Gold Coin.
Symbolizing transatlantic solidarity, the 2025 1 ounce Gold The American Eagle and the British Lion, two of the most recognizable national emblems in the world, are featured on the Lion and Eagle coin. With a striking design that exudes the common ideals of strength, sovereignty, and solidarity, this Brilliant Uncirculated issue from The Royal Mint honors the long-standing partnership between the United States and the United Kingdom.

David Lawrence created the intricate design for this coin, which is struck in one troy ounce of .9999 pure gold. In a powerful visual combination of heritage and strength, the reverse depicts the crowned Lion of England standing proudly next to the American Bald Eagle with its wings extended. The official effigy of His Majesty King Charles III, created by Martin Jennings, is displayed on the obverse. From Monument Metals website.

These coins are offered in a few different options as I’ve seen the silver available in both one ounce and five ounce. The gold coin I have seen available in one ounce and one tenth of an ounce. I think that it’s a nice design, but with the price of silver over $36 an ounce I’m going to be passing on this one
