Afternoon everyone….
While I am aware that several of my friends and followers do not live in the United States. It does happen to be Independence Day here (4th of July).
It’s a huge barbecue day here in the states. It’s also a huge fireworks day. Every single town does a fireworks display. However not all of them are held on the actual 4th of July. Why? Because of people being busy with barbecues and down the shore. Example: my town is holding them tomorrow night. Adjoining towns usually schedule around each other, so if you like seeing firework displays you can probably see them four days in a row around here. The town next to me to the south did them last night.
Many houses by me do their own firework displays as well. They will be going off till all hours of the night, since it’s a Friday holiday.

Personally I’m attending a barbecue, my girlfriend’s uncle is hosting it. But I’ve been nominated to be the drill master and I made several things for it. I already made macaroni salad, and an Italian antipasto. I’ve also hand pressed all the hamburgers. There is also chicken which has been marinating overnight. My girlfriend’s mom and stepdad are making deviled eggs and potato salad. I’m sure others attending are bringing things as well, I’m just not sure what it is.
It’s a beautiful day out here. Current weather prediction is a high of 84 and sunny. I’ll take it.
