You guys over in north america are so lucky. Here in UK, we are completely taken up the rear with VAT and dealer prices. It's actually cheaper to buy from within EU and courier back into the country!!

There are online dealers that accept BTC and don't charge tax. Not sure if you have that option.
Chance HM Customs and excise confiscate package. I'd then have to pay duty on it before it would be released (hence they get their VAT on it )
