Telling people that they can post here to make money is just setting most users up for disappointment. In truth SteemIt can only support a small fraction of the community getting regular large payouts.

Marketing it as a "Creator Support Network" sets the correct expectations, and any author rewards or curator rewards us regular users get are just a really awesome bonus.
