Universal Income isn’t workable. In this already broken system, it will merely set the clock few decades back for those who have nothing, while those already part of the 1% will snatch away even more opportunities.

The truth with every universal income system is that eventually it will recreate a structure similar to this one, as we continue to be peer-pressured by marketing and then our circles, wanting things the universal income doesn’t afford.

The main caveat? The new opportunities will already long have been taken by an ever more franchised world.

While I think universal income concepts are brilliant, they can only work in small, educated communities. Not in this society, not in these already existing economies. It would merely be handing over even more to the 1% and further amplify the inequality.

But if somebody creates a free state with UBI, keep me updated as I may be interested. Interested to be ahead of the game and carve my own universe within it.
