Chickens are great to have... we bought this house in part because it had an attached chicken coop and pen. We had 8 beautiful Rhode Island Reds.

Then the neighborhood association police determined they didn't want chickens in the neighborhood anymore.

Ironically now — eight years later, because of Covid and the potential for food shortages — they are talking about changing the no-chickens rule back.
