Shorebreak Sessions #6: Gas beach, West Australia (Rare Cyclone)
This week there's been a lot of rumours about a rare cyclone swell from the north west of Australia. The last time this happened was 5 years ago with cyclone Bianca, which lit up the whole coast and a lot of spots that lay doormant throughout the years suddenly turned in to world class waves.
After driving for an hour I finally came back to Gas beach to find about 50 people sitting on 1 peak across the whole beach. It soon became obvious why.
Normally I shoot in higher quality burst mode, but today I decided to gather video footage and post a few screenshots before uploading the video edit at a later stage.
Session details:
Location: Undisclosed, Western Australia
Time: 8.30am
Camera: GoPro Hero 3+ Black
Mode: Video 720/120FPS

Looks fun as, compared to the ones coming through up at Inji which just looked hectic!
Yee brother I heard inji was pumping! Was it the same spot Taj and co surfed when it went off years ago?
Yeh spot on
Sweet looking tube rides :)
Offshore all day too bro - never seen this beach pump like this before!
