It has taken off from a 20mil market cap in November to over 100 mil+ with the release of their new website hosted on “Phantom” using “jenga” to convert DNS to view their website hosted on IPFS without the use of 3rd party addons.

It is a proof of stake coin to earn passive income so it is a great long term hold for tax purposes as well with the new tax laws in the USA. Also classified as a “utility coin”

Shift is a fork of Lisk and Shift actually had one of their members join the team on 1/1/2018.

Not only can it host IPFS content but features decentralized storage as well.
It can support side chains / dAPPS / atomic swaps.
It’s going to be a rising star once marketing begins but it needs some recognition in the community until then for their hard work I believe.

We have a lot of multi-million dollar projects promising things but never producing results and this team has done so on their own funds without an ICO.

Quite impressive and deserves a shout out being recognized as world’s first working IPFS web hosting on the block chain.

IPFS is already being used to get censored content in countries such as turkey as well.

This platform has made it possible without 3rd party extensions until browser tech adapts.
To block IPFS with wide adaptation you would have to block the entire inter web.
Even then the content would appear on the backbone cached.

Firefox is currently looking into IPFS browser integration as well.

This project is huge and needs attention within the crypto community. It is a great platform with many possibilities.

The road map is quite impressive and looks to be fully operational by the end of 2019.

This is literally a bag of coins in one.

Let’s give this team the shout out they deserve for their hard work in the tech world.

And yes... You can keep central domain names with the use of IPFS. Website is proof. That was a silly rumor made up trying to devalue IPFS when in reality it is the replacement for HTTP.
