Cyber Monday Deal: Steem Is On Sale!

in #share2steem7 years ago (edited)

I had been looking for Black Friday or Cyber Monday deals all weekend. One deal was a lot better than anything else I had seen...

What A Deal!

I couldn't resist the low Steem price anymore and bought some. I paid only €250 for 814 Steem. That's an amazing deal!

Hola querida @simplymike, gracias a Dios ya puedo comentar y publicar, estoy muy contenta, recupere mi cuenta, ¡Te felicito! Es un buen momento para comprar. cariños y besos

What a relief to see you've got your account back! :0)

But you need to translate this comment for your followers 😁😉

Doesn't everyone have access to Google translate? By the way, Google translate sucks.

De vertaling is meestal heel slecht Engels. Ik wil haar daar liever niet mee confronteren...

Most people are very lazy. Or am I the only one 🤔😔

No, I'm super lazy too. If it were a comment on someone else's post, I would probably not put in the effort either, lol. Although... in Chrome it's just right-click and select 'Translate to English'. Not such a lot of work :0)

(FYI: she had been locked out of her account for a couple of days, so she expresses she's happy to be able to comment and post, and she congratulates me with my purchase )

Hey, @simplymike.

Totally agree. This is the Best Cyber Monday deal ever. I bought at a little higher up, or I'd be back at it now. New price point is 25¢. It's been great to nearly triple my initial investment because of the drop. I no longer feel any regret for not being in sooner. Now, I'm am perfectly ready for the prices to go back up. Seriously, I would not mind it at all. (Are you hearing that, cryptocurrency powers that be? It's okay to go back up now—I'm good!)

Okay, well, I know I have no say in any of this, and I also have no idea when things are going to go back up, or if they're going to go down or stay the same. Just thought I'd echo your call to buy. If people haven't done it already, maybe they should. :) Not investment advice, of course, and all the other legal mumbo jumbo cover my backside kind of language I should include, etc. :)

Lucky you. I'm still suffering a huge loss when it comes to my investment in Steem. I came here like a month before the prices skyrocketed last December, and at one point $4 was a good deal, hahaha, ... or so I thought at the time...

I've been ready for the prices to go back up for a while. I never thought of addressing the 'cryptocurrency powers that be', lol. Maybe I should give it a try ;0)

Btw, thanks for reminding me of the disclaimer-thing. I was in such a hurry to at least get something out that resembled a post, that I didn't think of it.

re: disclaimer

Wasn't even thinking what you did or didn't do, but hey, if I helped, there, cool. :)

re: huge loss

Well, my initial investment was when STEEM was at $6, but basically, I wasn't able to get a whole lot (nor did I try), so as the price has gone down, I've been buying. Now, between what I've invested and what I've earned, I'm below $1 USD. That would mean something if STEEM was above $1. :)

Isnt it now called "crypto-monday"?

The way things have been, @taskmaster4450, we could probably call it 'crypto-2018', or maybe 'crypto-last half of 2018' or something catchier than that. :) Not complaining—it's the way I was able to get more STEEM, so I'm feeling better about that than I was. Always an up to the downside. :)

Buying when there is blood in the streets.

For long term believers, this is a gift. It is amazing how it is all perspective. When in the buying mode, lower prices are wanted.

I too have some powder left...my targets are 30 cents or 50 cents, whichever comes first.

I hadn't realized the Verkoopkoers had moved that much! Ha ha, I don't speak Dutch, but I was able to gather what it meant. Congrats on getting more Steeeeeem!

Lmao. I thought about editing the screenshot and translate the words, but I made this post because I didn't have time to write one of decent length. I assumed the numbers would speak for themselves ;0

I can't argue with your logic @simplymike.

I have been advocating that for a little over a week while doing it myself when I can. It is a nice way to jump one's stake on the blockchain without giving up a ton of FIAT. I didnt look but what was STEEM the beginning of the month? Double what it is now? Maybe more....

A bargain for any believer in the prospects of the STEEM blockchain.

I've been here for exactly one year now, and I have been buying every now a then. I bought at $1, at $2, even at $4.... I didn't want to invest more, but I really couldn't resist anymore, lol. $0.35 is so cheap, compared to what I've been paying before.

I don't have an idea what the price was earlier this month, but it was definitely higher :0)

I just hope there will be enough 'believers' that are willing to invest. Because I took a look at the list of blockchains with the most transactions earlier this evening. A month ago, SteemIt was way ahead of the others in the list. Now, it is in 6th place, with 5x less transactions than EOS and the number 1: WAX (of which I never even heard) and only half of the number of transactions it had 8 months ago...
I must admit those numbers worry me a bit...

Be careful of the transactions. Most of then are either exchange transactions or gambling like dice games which Steem just got. So if a lot of people play it, transactions will go through the roof, meaning little of course.

As for the believers, I am one and I just bought another batch at just under 31 cents. I will buy in the 20s too if we get there.

So there are a few of us buying.

Thanks for the heads up. It is a factor I didn't take into consideration...

And next will be wobbling Wednesday 😂😜

Lmao! And you were right.

I read some negative comments about Ned selling Steem. I don't know what's going on, but this could result in Steem going down the drain in the remaining weeks of 2018.

I don't know a lot of detaills, but ned has been powering down flr a while now. It's the latest knews about SMT being off the table for now; that is going to piss a lot of people off, and will problably make even more people leave. Nevertheless, all we can do is ride it out and wait to see what what will happen. The only other option is to take evrrything you've got and leave now

yes, I agree - if one can afford it, it is a good time to purchase STEEM while price is that low good. :)
personally I've been purchasing it through BlockTrades only, and just in very small quantities. (can say tiny, insignificant)
I wish I could afford to buy it in tangibly larger quantity on some exchanges for a better price! :)

I'm glad I found a service here that allows me to buy Steem with Euros, without having to go through all the hassle of buying another crypto first and then going through the entire exchange process.
But then again, maybe it's a little too easy to buy Steem like that, lol. I've been spending quite a lot.
