Chance shots of a Flying Shag

Quite often we stop to watch the planes take off, but at the same time I watch the birds.
Even though you are not to encourage birds to be by any airport.
This is Auckland airport and is close to the Manukau harbour and a river comes through.
Here are two chance shots.
The first is really impressive.

Shags are often seen swimming in water and then they will suddenly dive to seek for food.
Their nests can be seen in trees near water ways.
