Fantasy Premier League Gameweek 19 Review and Tips-3 week outlook, one's to watch and captain picks!
Hello everyone!
Gameweek 19 is upon us and we have a Friday Kick Off this week with Arsenal vs Liverpool! The tie of the weekend no doubt and everybody knows in recent meetings between the 2 teams, it promises to produce a lot of action! Liverpool have been in good form of late, especially on the road. They've won their last 4 on the trot away from home beating their opponents by more than 3 goals! A record! It's still a long way to go but these 2 teams looks like they'll be battling it out for the top 4, along with Spurs and maybe, just maybe, Burnley!
Gamweek 19 is the first of 4 games in the space of 9-10 days in a period that is the busiest time of the year for the premier league! In this period, we should look at players that are likely to play all of the games. Also, keep in mind the double header coming up in Gameweek 22, with West Ham and Spurs playing twice!
Other good games for this weekend could be Everton vs Chelsea and Leicester vs Manchester United, both games could potentially provide upsets.
3 Week Outlook
As mentioned previously, the 3 week outlook will be done every 2nd post. Have a look at the last one in the below link.
One's to Watch
Adrian- Well, nobody could've predicted the way David Moyes has resurrected West Ham from the dead! With Good results against Arsenal and Chelsea, topped off by a dominant display away at Stoke. One of the key things that Moyes has changed, is the way West Ham defend! 3 clean sheets in a row and Adrian in for Joe Hart, Adrian is a real choice for fantasy managers. Adrian seems to be Moyes first choice with 3 clean sheets in a row and grabbing a bonus plus 3 saves against Arsenal, not to mention West Ham's double Gameweek in the new year, he is a real choice for fantasy managers.
Raheem Sterling- Raheem has been in incredible form this season and while he was part of the rotation earlier in the season, he is now a clear starter for Pep. Raheem has managed to bag 11 goals so far this season, which makes him City's top scorer in the campaign thus far and 3rd on the top scorer rankings. City have a decent run of fixtures coming up and Sterling could be bagging a few more.
Kevin De Bruyne- Well there's not much to say about arguably the best player in the league right now but Kevin has been absolutely unbelievable, sometimes single handedly bossing the big games! He plays every game for City and bagged double figures in 3 of the last 5 games he's played in.
Captain Picks
Raheem Sterling- mentioned earlier, the English winger has been in sublime form, with a home game against Bournemouth, he could be the number one captain choice of the week.
Mo Salah- Some would question captaining the Egyptian master in a tough game against Arsenal, but somehow Liverpool bag goals galore against the gunners so i wouldn't count him out for the week.
Sergio Aguero- Well the City striker has been overshadowed by the pure dominance of City's midfield this season but let's not forget even with rotation the striker has bagged 10 goals this campaign thus far and with Jesus playing in the cup tie this week, Sergio would surely start in the home game against Bournemouth.
