East Aceh Regent Invites Officials to Partner with Journalists

The Regent of East Aceh, H. Hasballah HM.Thaib, SH, invited the State Civil Apparatus (ASN) who were given the task of being leaders of the Regional Apparatus Organization (OPD) and other officials, such as school principals and madrasa principals to continue to consult with members of the press.

This is important, because journalistic works will accelerate regional progress, both the education sector and other lines are getting faster.

"Journalists are partners of the government and our partners. Without journalists, it is impossible for a region to progress quickly and develop," said East Aceh Regent, H. Hasballah HM.Thaib, who is familiarly called Rocky, while filling the Seminar and Socialization of the Press Law, Code of Ethics and Journalist Competence. Further said, the journalist worked in accordance with the Press Law and Journalistic Code of Ethics (KEJ).

Therefore, the journalist does not need to be feared, because of his existence as a government partner in advancing his area.

"The achievements of the East Aceh Government under its leadership since 2012 until now are inseparable from the role of journalists who continue to present news in 24 sub-districts in East Aceh," the regent said.

According to the Regent of East Aceh, without the presentation of journalists in the form of journalistic works, it is difficult for East Aceh to obtain funding from the state budget and the APBA.

But thanks to the work of journalism, now the region has begun to advance and compete with other districts / cities in Aceh.

"East Aceh is also progressing can not be separated from the role of members of the press," said Regent Rocky.

Therefore, it is time for all school principals and principals, both elementary, junior, senior high schools and senior high schools to make reporters as partners in advancing education.

"Don't be afraid when reporters go to school, because the aim of journalists is not to find the fault of the ladies and gentlemen, but to carry out their professional duties as a party that controls to advance this region," said Rocky.

Meanwhile, the Chairperson of the East Aceh PWI, Musyawir, SE, in his report said that the participants who attended the seminar and outreach reached 250 participants both elementary and junior high school principals under the East Aceh Education and Culture Office, principals ranging from high schools to vocational schools under the Office Branch Office Aceh Education in the East Aceh Region and the head of madrasa under the ranks of the East Aceh Ministry of Religion (Kemenag).

"The participants' interest is very high, but because kouta is limited, in the future activities like we will carry out the next stage," Musyawir said.
