I understand your point of view and I agree with it, but I do have an observation, maybe I am being dumb, but whenever I post something it shows that I up voted the post, something I have never done (why should I? My vote isn't worth much) could this be the case with a number of these up votes, or am I missing something?

    Upvoting your own blog-post is OK, that is a default function.

    The problem here is people who do not upvote other peoples blog-posts, but instead go into the comment-section and write 40 comments (spam) that he upvote himself. By exploiting the system like that, he drain a part of the reward-pool in a way that is nonbenefitial to the platform, the bloggers, and not even himself.

    People leave the games of Monopoly, Poker, Ludo, Chess - When someone is cheating.
