Seablue Journal: The photography journey continues....
I've been continuing to explore my DSLR camera this week. I'm enamored of the close-up it seems, as most of my most loved shots seem to be close-ups.
This week, I was noting the lighter green of the new growth on a coniferous tree outside my window at work. I took about ten different shots and finally settled on this one to share with you.
For most of the last few weeks, I've been very internalized in my thoughts. I've spent countless hours listening to audiobooks, watching videos and sitting out back of my place smoking cigars by the fire pit.
I'm not exactly sure what I'm mulling over, but eventually, I will find the motivation to come out of myself. I wrote this post to just do something. Maybe this is the turnaround.
Expansion and contraction. Breathe in, breathe out. I'm going with the flow and trying not to struggle against it.
I actually love it!
I'm glad you appreciate its beauty.
I love the soft spring green growth of trees! Fir trees, especially. I tend to talk to them, sing to them, pet them gently as I walk by. Keep breathing, and thanks for the reminder to flow and let go of the struggle. 💖
That's so right to do when you go with the flow just keep going don't stop :)
Congratulations with DSLR. It will give you a lot of joy, possibilities and flexibilities when taking pictures :)
I do love this as the closing. And the photo, as well.
wow this is so beautiful how did you blur all around? it seems awesome buddy 😮😍
I'm using the automatic settings for now. This one I set the mode to close up, and then I can press the button lightly to get it to choose different areas to bring into focus. Once I have the area in focus that I want, I press the button the whole way, and the camera does the rest.
I do play with the manual settings as well and I'm reading several books on digital photography to get up to speed.
Is this with your new camera?! Great depth of field!! I too have been in a mulling over, introspective phase for awhile - just learning to enjoy it as I’ll learn to enjoy the expansion to come ✌🏼
Yep. It is a Canon EOS Rebel t7i.
I'm slowly exploring its functionality. I was trying some shots of clouds in the sky, and playing with the brightness to get some contrast in the clouds.
I also tried the action setting that snaps off a whole lot of shots really quickly. Unfortunately, they were all pictures of one of my clients at work riding his bike, so I can't share any of those due to HIPPA laws, and I just deleted them after perusing the results.
So many functions to discover. It is a great tool.
I was having the same feeling and was not realizing that what to do and nothing was coming up in the mind. But eventually thought have to do it to reach to the GOAL ;)
While that passion of macro photography does becomes really great for the time being.
The lack of SBD arriving in my wallet was definitely a motivating factor for me to come out of myself today. :-D
I like it
Hi seablue😊😊😊
