I'll resteem this as well, perhaps that will get it a bit more exposure. This is an initiative that I think a lot of people could get behind. It asks the question "what is a science picture" and really a lot of things are science. :)

Thank you for your support!! Yes, I was really hoping that we can propagate science in some way by lower the "activation energy" for the general public to enjoy. Simple photo with a description should get use going!!
What is a science picture is very good question, I think any picture can be scientific, as long as you are able to dissect out the science within. Any flowers/ plants/ animals, if you can talk about the science within then its a good post, we all can always learn something from those post.
