Designing the Future
The Venus Project proposes an alternative vision of what the future can be if we apply what we already know in order to achieve a sustainable new world civilization. It calls for a straightforward redesign of our culture in which the age-old inadequacies of war, poverty, hunger, debt and unnecessary human suffering are viewed not only as avoidable but as totally unacceptable. Anything less will result in a continuation of the same catalog of problems inherent in today's world.

So close yet so far... :( People first need to change themselves, their thoughts and evolve their mind to see that we can do this almost with ease. This is future, and future is today, it has come finally and we must embrace it.
Our needs are craving for this and yet we as a civilization are somehow resisting to live better. I don't know why is that so, probably education systems, but I think the time is coming for us to take a good look and research this more.
Much love, Luka.
Super interesting.
I wish there would be some "intelligent planning" here in Florida.
I won't hold my breath though.
Thanks for sharing!
You can visit The Venus Project Center in Florida and see it first hand :)
Hey @thevenusproject. Thank you for sharing. Thank you
I know about this project for 10 years already, but i don't see or hear aout anything put in practice or scaled. Tesla for example is not on the market for too long and yet it keeps having breakthroughs and having tangible finite products.
I was super excited at first about Venus, but it looks like is more all on just the paper unfortunately..
Have you volunteered for the organization at any time, to help develop it and help it grow? We are always looking for volunteers, so check out the Get involved part of the Website to see all the tangible, real teams working.
The organization is stronger and bigger then ever :)
Good video.
I still like the feel and vibe of the old European cities though, they seem more interesting, warm and human.
It would be good to see a vision that creates a modern high tech city but with an old Euro-vibe to it.
