if you come to India and talk to various scholars, sadhus, rushies, mistics and normal human beings they will all have stories to tell about how the universe have began. This knowledge didn't just come from a micro scope or telescope but the most sophisticated instrument called "human body" .

Vivekananda started the initiation for this idea by teaching Vedanta which is the study of consciousness and for centuries the institution called " ramakrishna mission" have been doing their work to uplift the humanity in various ways.

unless we step out of our phisical realm and engrossment with it, we might find all these aspects mythical and rubbish.

science has even said DMT helps you hallucinate but without consciousness flowing through it do you think there is any scope of perception more than that we have a receptor which could be activated from within and that is why japa, tapa, sadhna are important (meditaion is a one aspect of it which doesn't define any of it)
