Pythagoras math

in #science7 years ago

Pythagoras is perhaps one of the most famous mathematicians ever. He is often described as the first 'real' mathematician in history. Pythagorean Theorem is the most widely discussed and most proven theorem in mathematics. We saw some very simple proofs of this theorem in Mathematical Beauty.

However, as much as Pythagoras as mathematician, Namdak was not above the criticism and controversy. The most strange and interesting thing is that Pythagoras' theorem did not discover Pythagoras, but it was known to the masses of squares on the three sides of a parallel triangle, before the birth of Pythagoras several centuries ago, it was heard in different civilizations! Unfortunately, none of Pythagoras 'own writings are left, but we know about Pythagoras' work from contemporary writings. Among them, Phillips is also notable, as well as some other Pythagorean. Pythagoras was a very influential person and his great follower was a team. These followers are called Pythagorean.

Pythagoras established a school in Crete, roughly 530 BC, in South Italy. It was not as much as it was for learning and mathematics, spiritual and religious practices. Pythagoras converted mathematics into religion and spirituality. Pythagoras was not only a mathematician, but at the same time he was a spiritual leader and philosopher. He chose many mysterious hardships in the field of spirituality. For example, he was a strict vegetarian. He lived with a large number of devotees, among whom he imposed strict rules. It does not have to turn back to the sun, not to marry any woman dressed in gold ornaments, do not cross any donkey crossing any road, eat peas or eat even without touching them.

In his school, his followers were divided into two groups. The name of a group was "mathematikoi" or student, who started Pythagoras' mathematics and science, even many of the things used in the name of Pythagoras are invented or discovered by them. And the other group was "akousmatikoi" (or "listeners") or listener. Originally, Pythagoras had been busy with various spiritual and religious customs and rituals. There were often many conflict between these two groups. As a result of such confrontation and mysteriousness among the Pythagoreanans, all the auditoriums were destroyed in 460 BC and only 50 of their disciples were killed in Crotone.

Pythagoras merged mathematics and religion. His school was taught "all mathematics" or "mathematics is God". He liked the integer very much, he considered them pure, and used to impose various things on the world and worshiped them. Thus, an item called number-worship is revealed. He used to say a number, the creator of all numbers, used to say two, opinion, three chivalry, four righteousness, five weddings, six creation, seven seven planets or traveler stars (the night sky shows the solar system's planets like stars, and they change the position over time.) During the Pythagoras, seven planets He knew the number of females and he had odd numbers as feminine.

The most sacred numbers to him were ten. Because this number is found as a sum of one, two, three, four, and they can be arranged in a triangular triangle (see the picture below). The mathematical discovery of the ten numbers separately outside the ten fingers of the two hands is a significant contribution of Pythagorean mathematics.

However, Pythagoras and some of the other half-time mathematicians of his time contributed to the theory of conjunction with logic and theorem in his math. For example, geometry before Pythagoras was just a few of the experimental measurements. Pythagoras established these experimental measurements in the light of the overall theory. Pythagoras' thesis is a similar theory. Even if this theorem was prevalent for measuring long ago, but he first established the three arm of a parallel triangle with the a2 + b2 = c2 equation. And in the light of this equation, there are three complete grouped Pythagorean triplet clusters. For example: (3, 4, 5), (5, 12, 13) etc. The sum of the three numbers of these ayes is equal to the sum of the class of the class, and the sum of the third class. For example: 32 + 42 = 52 or 52 + 122 = 132. Pythagoras' theorem is one of the oldest theoremics in the history of the world, and it has been studied so much that more than 400 different types of evidence have been used by many branches of mathematics.

But if there is religion then there is religious prejudice also. Mathematics was the religion of Pythagoras and he did not allow anything to conflict with his mathematical religion. Pythagoras did not have any kind of knowledge about the unnatural number in the school. He considered the whole number very sensible, and he and his disciples believed that any number could be expressed as the ratio of two whole numbers. But the noise came up with figure 2. Pythagorean triples start with a complete number, but later it appears that such a trio can be formed with fractions. For example: (1, 1, 2). Jahutu Pythagoreanans believed that any number can be expressed as the ratio of two integers, so that number can also be expressed in number 2.1. But a Pythagoras disciple found that the form of the integers of Hippasas could not be expressed in any way as the proportion of two arithmetic, and he discovered that it can not be expressed as 2. Through this incident, the existence of a kind of new type of new name, called Amaludh Number, was exposed. This invention shook the empire of pure mathematics in Pythagoras and hit the whole "math religion" belief. The Blaspheme Pythagoras could not accept and at the command of Hippasas was drowned in the water as if the outside world could not get any information about this important discovery. But the discovery of the new number of unqualified numbers, as the proportion of integers, was a major contributor to the development of mathematics. The real reorganization of Greek geometry by the invention of the numerical number is the opening of the new horizon of a plane line and calculation of the angle.

In addition to the other contributions of geometry on Pythagoras (or at least one of his disciplines), the thesis of the three-corners of the triangle is two right angle or 180 degrees. It was subsequently magnified for other polygons. Commonly available from this theorem, the total sum of angles of a single polygon with an arm of arm (2-4) is the right angle Pythagorans could even draw pictures from a given field of equations and know how to solve the solution of the geometrical algebra.

Pythagoreans also started the number theory simultaneously. They discovered the perfect number (the number which is equal to the sum of their composites, 28 numbers). They discovered various traits of classical numbers. For example: A positive integer square of n is equal to the sum of the first n positive positive odd numbers. That is, n = 1 + 3 + 5 + ...... + n. For example, 42 = 1 + 3 + 5 + 7 = 16. They first identified a pair of 'friendly numbers (which are the sum of factors of one of the factors in the sum of the factors of the other)'. This number is 220 and 284.

Pythagoras is also credited with discovering the ratio of tunes to music. Most music notes in the world, including western, subcontinent, are typical of some frequencies. For example: Double frequency of a computer indicates an octave. Pythagoras have shown that there is a fairly good number of proportion of each of the notes of Sa, Ray, Ga, Ma, Pa, Dha, Ni, Sa etc. A chromatic scale of 12 notes is sometimes called Pythagorean tuning, because the 3: 2 ratio of this scale remains the same as that of Pythagoras first mentioned. Pythagoras is so excited that in this discovery that he assumes that the whole universe is based on the number based on the number. Planets and satellites are rotated on the basis of numbers, and among them there is no harmony as in music.
