Very interesting piece, @renzoarg !

People need to stop thinking of alien life as something that comes from a planet similar to our own - chemically with the the same amount of gravity - who knows, we may be the only life in our neck of the woods that can create / manipulate objects. I think Arthur C Clarke once said, that one possible place we could find life is in the sun, some kind of plasma-based intelligence .. he wrote a short story years ago .. "From Out of the Sun". ..

Of course, we have Hollywood to blame for the anthropormor... you know .. but some sci-fi filmmakers got it right!
