Nice post @valenttina I think these sorts of bioplastics are really interesting, though the water solubility is indeed a problem especially for food packaging. Would be nice to convert to things that are 100% biodegradable in the long run though! Hope the research on this works out the kinks.
I know it would be nice! It is a small project, we will try a different plasticizer or add another one to the common plastic films and see how does it works and how are the mechanical and barrier properties. Thanks for your comment :)
